After the article appears and thanks to Jackson’s excellent design skills and a series of poster, fliers and adverts put up round the town, the offers of work soon come flooding in, much to the chagrin of Peyton’s older brother Arthur Kimble, a Detective Inspector with Cheshire Constabulary who thinks his kid brother should find himself a more sensible profession.

But when Gordon Tate, the son of the man Ros is dating, turns up dead, Peyton and Jackson are drawn into an entirely more sinister world that will change both their lives forever.

The police rule the death as a suicide, but Peyton and Jackson have other ideas.

Gordon’s father Ainsley is convinced that his son was murdered and employs the unlikely duo to investigate further. He wasn’t depressed, he had everything going for him in his life…why would he kill himself?

But with all the evidence stacked against them and even the police turning their backs, can Peyton and Jackson prove that this was something more than a simple suicide?
